What can you do with the FREE app?

Good news: many features in MysterSmith are FREE for everyone!!! :-)

DISPLAYING DATA:

you can display received text on the BLACK SCREEN
you can display handwritings, signatures, playing cards, magic squares, Tic-Tac-Toe boards etc. on the Doodle screen
you can display text, drawing and images on the PeekSmith 3 and Bond devices (no add-on required until the end of 2025)
you can display text on the SB Watch 2 (no add-on required until the end of 2025)
you can display images, handwritings, playing cards, magic squares, ESP symbols etc. on Teleport (no add-on required until the end of 2025)
you can display text and drawings on the MrCard device (no add-on required until the end of 2025)

RECEIVING DATA:

WEB-polling: you can receive info from any WEB API (like Inject, WikiTest, Elips, Topix, Goo etc. or any other source)
Custom URL scheme: you can receive data from any app through the mystersmith:// scheme
HTTP Socket: you can receive data from any app or WEB-browser (on the same local WiFi network) on localhost:62369
WEB-input (WEB-thumper): you can receive data from any WEB-browser, from anywhere in the world (planet Earth)
manual input: your assistant can enter text/numbers, playing cards, colors etc. manually
you can use the built-in NFC reader of your phone to receive data
you can use supported NFC readers to receive data
on Android you can catch and display notifications from any 3rd party app
you can view words (and point values) from the Scrabble device by Labco
you can display numbers coming from the Quantum calculator

IMPRESSION BOARDS:

you can display handwriting and drawings from impression boards on the Doodle screen and on the BLACK SCREEN

HANDWRITING RECOGNITION:

you get 250 free recognition credits, to be used with the Google Vision recognition engine (one recognition = 1 credit)

CONTROLLING THE APP:

you can use Volume buttons (and bluetooth shutter remotes that simulate a volume button press) to trigger any available action in the app
you can tap the corners on impression board devices to trigger any available action in the app
you can use the buttons of the PeekSmith 3 and Bond devices to trigger any available action in the app (no add-on required until the end of 2025)
you can use the buttons of the Quantum calculator to trigger some actions in the app (no add-on required until the end of 2025)

TESTING E-INK DEVICES AND PRINTERS:

you can connect any supported e-ink device and printer, and send a TEST image/text to see if they work properly with the app
